Starting a care business and CQC registration
Service model, regulated activity planning, provider and registered manager applications, Statement of Purpose, evidence packs and interview preparation. You complete and submit; we prepare and check.
Mock inspections, compliance audits, CQC assessment readiness, governance and quality assurance, improvement planning and support for registered managers. Scoped and quoted in writing before work begins.
Statutory and mandatory, Care Certificate, clinical and specialist, leadership and compliance, with the competence assessments that go with them. Group training from £295 live online, £495 for a half day and £795 for a full day in person; the final price is confirmed in writing.
A policy library organised by topic, from safeguarding and medicines to governance and business continuity, with the forms, logs and templates that make each policy and procedure work.
Editable packs from £49 to £797, bought one-off: email libraries, audit packs, evidence packs and master forms by service type, need and resource type, released to your account after payment.
Run audits, attach evidence to the finding that needed it, give every action an owner and a date, and draw governance reports from real audit data. From £59 a month.
Every service type, with its own policies and its own parallel services.
The requirements, the document set and the risks differ by regulated service type. So each one gets its own policy set, audit modules, mock inspection framework, registration support, training and Hub modules.
Working with providers across England, on site and remotely. Open 7 days a week.
Consultancy
Software when the workflow repeats. A person when judgement matters.
Expert human support for your service, delivered by people who have run a regulated one. Engagements are scoped and priced individually, and we say when you do not need us.
Flagship service
Mock inspection
A full CQC-style assessment: evidence review, manager interview, staff discussions, care documentation and governance review, with observation where appropriate. You receive a Mock Inspection Report with risk-rated findings, a RAG-rated action plan and a follow-up review.
Each one produces the input to the next, so doing the work is building the record. Nothing gets written up twice.
STEP 01
Pick your service
Care home, home care or supported living. You get the modules scoped to that service type, not a generic checklist bent to fit.
STEP 02
Run the audit
Work through the questions on any device, recording what you found rather than only whether you passed.
STEP 03
Actions get owners
Every finding becomes an action with a named person and a date. A finding without both is not a finding.
STEP 04
The record assembles
Evidence sits against the finding that needed it. Your governance report is drawn from real audits, not typed up at month end.
The Digital Compliance Hub
The audit is the point. The paperwork is a by-product.
Most compliance software is a document store with a search box. The Hub is built the other way round: you run an audit, and the evidence, the findings, the actions and the governance report come out of it, already linked, already dated, already attributable.
Which means that when someone asks how you know your medicines handling is safe, the answer is not a policy. It is the last three audits, who did them, what they found, and what changed as a result.
Evidence attachedFiled against the finding, not a folder
An illustration of one audit cycle. Doing the work is what builds the record. There is no separate write-up afterwards.
What's inside
Audit centre
23 published modules and 1,106 questions across the five key questions, scoped to your service type.
Evidence library
Files attached to the finding that needed them, not to a folder.
Action tracker
Every finding gets an owner and a date, or it is not a finding.
Governance reports
What changed this month, drawn from real audit data.
Policy register
Version, owner, approval and review date for every policy you hold.
Incidents & complaints
Logged, tracked, and visible in the same place as the audits.
Staff compliance
Training and competence by person, with what is due next.
Multi-site oversight
One view across up to three homes or services on the £149 plan.
How to buy
Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.
Most providers start with something free, buy one thing that solves this month's problem, and only subscribe when keeping it current becomes the problem. That is the honest order, so it is the order we sell in.

Five key questions
Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led.
The five key questions are the structure behind everything here: the audit modules, the policy library, the training and the consultancy. They keep evidence practical.
SSafe
Abuse, medicines, infection control, staffing and risk. What keeps people safe.
EEffective
Assessment, consent, nutrition, training and outcomes. What improves lives.
CCaring
Dignity, privacy, choice and independence. How people are treated.
RResponsive
Person-centred planning, complaints and end of life. How the service responds.
WWell-led
Governance, culture, learning and oversight. How leaders know it is working.
Why us
“A policy is not evidence that anything happens. I've sat on the other side of an assessment. What gets asked is who does it, where it's recorded, how it escalates, and who checks.”
What that changes about what you get
Policies written to be implemented. Every one names the role responsible, where the action is recorded, and the audit that tests it, because that is the question that actually gets asked.
Training that admits its limits. A certificate is not competence. For medicines, CQC expects a formal competence assessment carried out by someone competent themselves. We say so, and we offer the assessment as well as the course.
Nothing dressed up. We do not claim CQC approval, because CQC accredits nobody. We do not guarantee registration, because nobody can.
Written for England, dated on the page. Every document carries the date it was reviewed and the guidance it was written against, so you can see for yourself whether it is current.
Questions
The things managers ask first.
Do I have to switch my care records system?
No. This sits alongside whatever you already use - Nourish, PASS, Birdie, Access, Person Centred Software, or paper. It adds the compliance and evidence layer without touching your care records, so there is no migration and nothing to rip out.
Does this make my service compliant?
No, and anyone telling you otherwise is not being straight with you. No tool can make a service safe or well-led. What this does is help you do the work properly and prove that you did. The judgement, and the care, stay yours.
What is the difference between a mock inspection and CQC assessment readiness?
A mock inspection is a full CQC-style assessment of the service, with risk-rated findings and a RAG-rated action plan. Assessment readiness is a shorter review for a provider who expects to be assessed soon and wants to know where the critical gaps are in leadership, evidence, governance, policies, audits, staff knowledge, notifications, complaints, safeguarding, incidents and training. Neither promises an outcome; both tell you what to fix first.
Will the audit content stay current?
Yes, and we will be specific about what that means. The five key questions are unchanged and are staying unchanged. CQC's assessment methodology around them is being revised, so we track it and update the modules when it lands. Every module shows the date it was last reviewed so you can check rather than take our word for it.
Can you complete my CQC application for me?
No. You must complete and submit your own application, and the declarations in it are yours to make. We help you prepare and check the evidence behind it, review what you have written, and tell you where it is inconsistent or incomplete before you submit.
Is it only for care homes?
No. Home care agencies, care and nursing homes and supported living services each get modules and documents written for that service type, because the risks and the required evidence genuinely differ.
Is my evidence secure?
Your files are held in private storage that only your organisation's users can reach, and access is tied to the person's role. Nothing is shared with anyone outside your organisation, and you decide what to show and when.
Is VAT added to the prices shown?
No. Haverton Care Limited is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to any price on this page. If that position changes, future quotations and invoices may change accordingly.
